John, a retired service disabled veteran, served in the US Navy and retired as a Supply Corps Captain after 24 amazing years of his life with respect. John was discharged honorably in 1995.
John has over 45 years of professional experience in administration, financial management and distribution management.
John today serves as Vice President of TechnoTraining Inc. and previous to this John was President of TechnoTraining Inc. John also worked with Gromelski & Associates as Director of Operations.
John has had the privilege of being the Supply Officer for USS Rathburne (FF1057), Assistant Combat Information Center Officer and OI Division Officer onboard USS Lexington (CVT16). He was also Head of Weapons Section Two, Stock Control Weapons Division Three in the Aviation Supply Office. His next assignment was as Assistant Supply Officer onboard the USS Nassau (LHA 4) and then went on to be Customer Services Officer with Naval Supply Center in Norfolk, VA.
Johns other roles in the Navy have been as Deputy, Assistant Chief of Staff, Aviation Logistics, Fleet Marine Force, Atlantic and Supply Officer for Naval Air Station in Cecil Florida. In addition he served as the Director for Customer Service Department in the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center and ended his Navy career as Executive Officer for the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center.
John has been an avid learner and believes in sharing his experiences as a life coach and academic coach when needed.
Outside of helping people and companies at work, John also helps society when he can. John organized the Area Five Special Olympics regional games for soccer, tennis, softball and track for Northeastern Florida from 1989 to 1992.
John also co-founded and managed a building partner for Habitat for Humanity of South Hampton Roads, VA from 1995 to 2009.
John sits on a numerous number of boards for Non Profit organizations and believes strongly in giving back and helping his community.
John is just as comfortable working in a boardroom with senior executives as he is in helping individuals that have had issues in life and need help getting back on their feet.
John received his MBA in Finance and Marketing from Temple University and his BA in Economics and Marketing from Marquette University.
John’s role with Highlands is as a consultant for a variety of commercial and non profit organizations. Understanding big business and big government comes natural to John and he loves to serve and assist where he can. John lives with his beautiful wife in Chesapeake, VA.
